Advertising spam?
[edit]This article looks like it may have been recently added to provide supposedly objective support for a current marketing campaign that is currently being distributed via Weatherbug Values' advertising department. See article and compare: http://www.healthresources.net/bloodsugar/index.aspx?SC=HEV1024
I would consider the neutrality of this article in serious question. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.217.161.195 (talk) 20:52, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
removed function
[edit]I have removed the function of mechanism section as no citations were given. This herb is used in many diet pills and I believe it was added to promote a product. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.68.40.178 (talk) 20:03, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
too technical
[edit]The sections of this article are clearly too technical for a public encyclopedia and should be revised to be more accessible. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Siris972 (talk • contribs) 03:13, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

Miracle fruit?
[edit]I'm skeptical about the name miracle fruit being used for this leaf. I have one of the references used to support this common name in front of me, but miracle fruit is NOT listed as a common name for G. sylvestre. I'll check the other two references will probably be removing the common name.22:05, 1 November 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Plantdrew (talk • contribs)
Maybe a wrong photo of this plant has been placed into this wikipedia info!
[edit]Gymnema_sylvestris (Gurmar) - view the kind of the green leaves of Gymnema_sylvestris (Gurmar) in the National Library of Medicine: [1]https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2170951/ and compare the kind of leaves - status Mo. 5. Dec. 2022 at 07 am in Berlin-Timezone: the leaves-photo in this wikipedia-article has to be changed - probably! Intelligencescout (talk) 06:03, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
